PH 5.5-5.8
PPM 250

Advanced Nutrients Grow Micro Bloom

Affected plants 2/4

History: A week into life, the plants went through a day of transplantation, PPM and PH shock, and then went 11 days without growing - before I put 250PPM of nutes in and they doubled in size in two days.

I have since upped their nutes to 430PPM, just before I realized the problem. However, the problem was present when it was at 250PPM.

Well fuck it, I added 1/2 tbsp of epson salt per gallon. I hope that it was tablespoon that is required. There were conflicting reports of tbsp and tsp.

If it was tsp I should have done, I put double the dose I should have. If it was tbsp I should have done, I did half the dose.

PPM went up 400, from 430 to 830. I'm going to leave it for now unless I see the situation deteriorating, though.

i know im resurecting a dead thread but incase anyone happens to come across this. THIS DOES NOT look like magnesium deficiency or lockout. mg lockout usually has yellow middle leaves with some leaves having almost white tips. it could be mg but it looks more like calcium, usually MG does not start out with brown spots like those, it starts with yellowing and then some rusty spots on the yellow / white-ish leaves. you will know its MG deficiency because your middle leaves will look like an old banana.

this looks more like possibly the begining of potassium def or cal def, but honestly its so small and undeveloped that it is going to be pretty hard to pin down at this stage just by looking at it. Think about what youve been giving them, and check the levels on your fertilizers and try to narrow it down from there. too much mag will lock out cal and too much cal will lock out mag. Maybee pick up some calmag and make sure you are using a good full npk fertilizer with micro nutrients added and diluted seperatly and then mixed to avoid binding.
