Ive never heard of this before. Could you post the thread where this is discussed? interesting concept but im not sold on it based on how many seed runs have had a ball pop up but clone run no balls ever, so only way to test is have a plant that always hermis consistently and try it on...I dont have a hermi plant to test, fortunatly!
Wasnt in a thread or I would of, was actually just a friend of my dads. the guy is about 65. Hes a professional gardener now, of the non smokeable sort. He seemed fairly confident that it was a tested method of his. But like i said i havent personally tried it so I cant say for sure. Just a thought.

lol i have the same problem tho man, if a plant hermies on me unless i can pinpoint it down to being my fault pretty fast, i just toss that cut and move on. so i cant test his theory :(

Lol I will just take your word with that. I had a buddy grow some hermies and he thought it was a small led light on a fan inside the flower room. I dont have a first hand experience with hermaphrodites nor do I want to. On that note I would never intentionally allow light in the room when my plants are sleeping, it just sounds counter productive and could cause numerous problems.
yeah that ol moon light is blue, no way we would use that in our veg rooms to reduce stretch or build roots, and no way all those HPS street lights would make enough light to be compared to an LED on an electronic device

I've actually done the 24 hour all blue light in flower experiment and guess what it didn't cause hermies
