Possible Easiest and Cheapest Grow

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Been thinking a while about how when you grow you've gotta spend all that money, take all that time with your lighting, nutrients and setting the whole shit up, and you gotta weed (no pun intended) out all your males... you get the idea. So I was thinking what would be the easiest, cheapest grow.

Now I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but it's only a HYPOTHETICAL grow, I'm not going to do it. If you're gunna grow, grow it right!

Anyway, I was thinking how ghetto and lazy could you possibly grow?

My idea was a 2 litre bottle with stones and soil at the bottom, a tube with water in, a tube for water out at the bottom, and holes put in near the top for air to circulate. (Explained better with picture)

The seed of choice would probably be like a Lowryder or some other small auto flowering plant. I figured that the plants grow to like, what 15”? That’d fit in a bottle, right?


And all youd have to do to maintain it would be pipe in your water and nutrients, make sure it was draining right and make sure it got enough light


I don’t advise anyone doing this, it’s just a fun concept I’m fooling with.

Well I'm not doing it cos its a shit grow. You'd get low yield, and have to sacrafice quality of bud for what? an extra few weeks in veg? It was just an idea I had

You know what? What the hell! Someone tell me how you could increase the yield on this shit!
I doubt the plant would live, all the leaves would bunch up in the container and block light, right?

bigger container = bigger root system = bigger yield

more roots more shoots

If you have less than $100 to start a grow from scratch you are probably better off just buying some finished bud...

thats bullshit man, my 1st rookie grow outdoor i used seeds id picked out of some nice bud which was very seedy (rare to get seeds in bud in uk as most is hydro and controlled) and only fed with rain water shit and coffee grounds from starbucks (free) and i got around 1oz per plant when i started them late (july). so for nothing i got 10 oz of bud some tasted really nice but strong some was a bit random but it still got smoked! so if this guy is having his 1st attempt he doesn't want to be blazin £ b4 he knows a bit about what hes doing imo.

cut the top off your bottle...use it as a pot. Voila!

I was going to do that. then i started researching and got.... well.... just let the pics do the talking....lol

Im going to plant a few seeds out this year and see what happens. If i can pull 1 ounce per plant then im looking at around 50 ounces.... Did you have probs with pest's?????

got WELL into it by the looks of it! very impressive!

no pests cos they were in a greenhouse but iv heard you can buy tiger piss online to keep rabbits n deer away but i bet human piss would probably do the trick if you drank loadsa hoffmeister or summat rank lol

Lol well its going to have to be bitch piss i think because im going to do it in a local woodland where i live. I have been clearing a spase for the last 4 weeks and im about ready. its just an experiment so Im not going to put any cash in to it at all. wewll may be just the hose that i have in to a nearby stream that will provide refreshments for them...

Thanks man! All I've been able to afford is a growlight and seeds, and thats kinda completely got me broke! I was thinking about doing this just so I could atleast have a go whilst i got saving for the good stuff.

your best bet is auto flowering seeds, they'll handle any climate even when treated like shit lol so ideal for beginners

i just set 10 x diesel ryder yesterday, and 10 x blue ryder, gonna start em off in a greenhouse then outdoor somewhere ppl wont look!
