  • hey guys my 8 tomatoes at about 3 inches are under 2 400wt flood lights with good ventalation at about a ft away and they started at about 4 ft away and i have slowly moved them closer with no issues until today i have been taking them out for walks in the sun A few times for a good 8 hr period just to give them some of that natural uv, and are about 2 weeks old with 4 normal sized leaves and 2 new ones each growing in right now very slowly i have transfered them from small cups of starter soil into 1 gallon pots with organic compost and some blood and bone mix. when i did this they slowed right down in thier growing. i have done a ph test and it seems that i might be at about 8 not 7 so i will look into this further. i am using a very small amout of a mild plant starter nutrient and have been very carefull not to burn them, on just three plants they now are starting to have some pale discolouration leaning towards a yellowish color in the centre of the razor like leaves and it is starting to spread i have taken them down about 10 inches from the lights compared to the other plants to give them a break. i have read that this may be boron deficiency i would love to hear your advice!

i will soon be adding a 600wt hps bulb and prob leave on one of the 400wts or get some smaller energy saving blubs.

sorry about the quick manner in wich i have wrote this i will update it tomrow.
    thanks for the support!
