Portable grow?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to grow with batteries or something along those lines? I have the perfect stealthy location but unfortunately no easy way to access electricity. There are no sockets nearby and I can't have a 100m extension cable running across the yard. Honestly I don't expect a solution to my problem but if ANYONE has ANYTHING I will except it gladly. Thanks

you could run a cord underground. Create a green house with wheels. Or try something stupid like rigging series of car batteries to a ballast.

I thought about running a cord underground but I don't think it would be possible without machinery as I would have to dig under tarmac. Car batteries? Hmm..

It should not be that hard to dig through the tarmac and repair it when your done.
I would imagine that a sledge hammer would do the job.
Can you not go around the tarmac?, running a mains power cable along the fence on one side of the property and then underground too the shed might be an idea that could work.
Ideally you want any underground wiring in a bright orange coloured conduit so its visible if other workers encounter it.

Even the best DIY LED light setups require a lot of power, you would have to invest thousands in batteries and would still need a way to charge them. A gas or diesel generator is probably a better solution than batteries, with additional sound proofing added.

Yeah this doesn't sound like it's possible to do cheaply. Impossible.... No
worth the investment.... Absolutley not.
Figure out how to get power to whatever your looking to grow in.

Plant them outside? All power is taken care of :). You would need quite a few solar panels and batteries if you want remote indoor. But sometimes you can find the panels cheap on craigslist.

I live in the Northern Hemisphere so outdoor grows and aren't really practical. Same goes for solar panels. I looked into getting a generator but the cheapest ones are 300+ and aren't suitable because they are so fucking noisy >:( The quiet ones are something like 2000+ so really it looks like I won't be growing anytime soon.
