Ok so i bought this portable ac unit but it doesnt cool my room enough to get the temperatures down unless it is directly inside the tent...
Its 9000btu and i was planning on using it with a single 600w hps in a large air cooled reflector
Now im pretty sure that if i run that a/c in there along with the air cooled hood my temps will be perfect but they do put out a lot of heat out the back of the a/c unit
My problem is i have a ds120 tent which has one hole on the top for the extractor fan to sit on (carbon filter>ducting>hood>ducting and out the top of the tent) and a hole at the bottom for an intake (which i dont use just now as i use the passive vents)
If i run an ac unit in there too to maintain excellent temps - where would i run the exhaust from the a/c unit to
Is anyone else running an a/c unit along with an air cooled hood
