Portable A/C cooler or window A/C?

Hey, so I've got a dimmable 400w cooltube running through a 4 x 2 x 5 tent in a 4 x 6 x 9 walk-in closet, which leads to my bedroom. All air is pulled through a 160 cfm fan to the closet.
And ends there.
Unless I'm home, which is when I can open the closet door and window.
But when I'm not home, I need to do something about this heat!

So living in a dry climate, I saw the portable air coolers that basically run on water, and raise humidity and cool temps.
But there are also those window A/Cs that literally FREEZE the the hell out of your room.

So here's what I'm wondering...
Do I get the cooler/humidifier for my interior closet?
Or keep the window A/C on 24/7 and just keep my bedroom a winterland?

Problem is, if I choose window A/C, will those cool temps affect the hot temps in the closet when the door is closed?
Probably not.....
Sigh.

you can do the window ac unit and either put it on a timer like, 15 minutes/hour and as long as you have the fan sucking air into the closet it should help?

Does it exhuast outside?
mine exhausts into the roof. im not the op btw. and i also want to throw in that them portable air conditioners suck the odor in and release it through the hose. so be careful with that too.
