polystyrene lined box?do i still need to paint it?

hi everyone i just lined my box with polystyrene sheets mainly for insulation its getting mighty cold here at the moment.
will it be better painted now or should it be ok with it being white?cheers paul

Leave it white or get some mylar. The paint will only bring you toxins, not reflectivity.

It should be fine being white, but if you do decide to paint it - be careful as many paints/solvents/propellants dissolve polystyrene.

will emulsion water based be ok?....just thought the polystyrene wont give off any fumes or whatever that might hurt the plants when it gets warm will it?

Water based paints should be ok but just leaving it unpainted will be fine.

White is the only color you want around the MJ plant.
Simple plain white..
Its all good.

i mean its not like mirror where it eats the light instead of reflecting it?.......i will probably be getting some mylar in the near future emergency survival blanket FTW
