Pollination, How Does This Work?

I have 1 DP Strawberry Cough Plant and 1 DP Mazar (Skunk x Afghani). Both came from feminized seeds.

The Mazar hermied and pollinated both plants.

1) What will the seeds from the Mazar plant grow?
2) What will the seeds from the Strawberry Cough grow?

I'm looking to find out the likely type/sex of each seed. I don't know shit about genetics.

Thanks!

can I assume that these new seeds will be no more predispositioned to hermie than the original fem seeds I got from the breeder?

Also, I'd like to know what I might expect from the Mazar X Strawberry Cough seeds. Will these seeds grow to exhibit traits from both strains? Will one traits from one strain be more dominant than the other?

I'm assuming this is educated speculation, and at the end of the day you kinda just have to grow'em and see, but a friend is looking for seeds and I want to be able to tell them what to expect, more or less.

Thanks!

i would think you would get seeds with hermy traits. you may get males and females. they will be 1/2 of each parent. the first cross usually carries 50% of each parent. did it actually hermy or did it just get a few male flowers?

Just a few male flowers. Honestly I never even saw the male parts...

We're talking a couple dozen seeds on the Mazar that self-pollinated and even less than that on the Strawberry Cough.

i wouldn't consider those "hermy". i call that "self preservation". i would keep these seeds and plant them. they may hermy but then again they may be fine. i have used these types of seeds before and did well with them. :blsmoke:

Gotcha. Would it be fair to say that the risk of hermie from the Mazar seeds is probably pretty close to the risk I faced with usng feminized seeds to begin with?

And then the seeds from the Strawberry Cough, same risk on hermie? And the plant grown from that seed are likely 50/50 on traits from both plants?

Again, I know there's no crystal ball. Just looking to have a best guess. :)
