Pollinating clones with mother hermie pollen?

i dont know how many ppl are familiar with the rodilization technique for creating feminized seeds. for those that dont know short version is let the female go a few weeks past her finish un-pollinated she'll hermie and create pollen. now here's my question..

what would be the results if you took clones from the mother a few weeks before you expected her to hermie, (obviously you'd have to get the timing right) flowered the clones and let the mother pollinate?

is this considered selfing? would the harvested seeds show different traits like an inbred pollination, or would they resemble the mother more?

oh and also... was this a dumb question? lol

Yeah that's selfing and depending on who you trust some people say stress can be carried over to the seed and some say the seed should be fine. People have been doing it for decades.

Rodelization as understood by Soma
You must let the plant go beyond harvest date it will grow the banana.. Take that and then grow the same exact cutting out again then this time paint some of that pollen on there, this is the run down of Rodelization as I understand it, although I am certainly not an expert.

Hermie does pollinate itself. It's a natural reaction to preserve itself for later generations. It is still a natural phenomenon with plants having both male and female sexes and pollinating itself. This is also called "selfing". Problem is if it also pollinates other weed plants in the process.
