see? nobdy's mentioned this and i can't find anywhere the true amount of water which should be sitting in the tray (if any).

according to grodan they shouldn't be sitting in the water.

:idea:they are supposed to dry slowly so when you tap (kick with foot) the block it will move when it's time to water again.

:idea:also, you should keep the paper on the mini-blocks so the roots stay covered from the light..i've seen everyone including manufacturer take off.

The more green you have the more cool you are. Really got a nice garden growing. A lot of effort. Good job. :)

I remember the story of a couple of guys in SF. It was on Weed Wars a few years ago.
They started a small commercial grow for a clinic.

They thought it would be a fun, easy, hobby income but they both ended up putting in 60 hours a week.

Room temperature, air flow and humidity are factors. What works in an arid dry place might not work in a high humidity area.

The "right" amount of moisture will vary.

You might consider aeroponics, many people are happy with their results. Good luck.

According to some, you just set GPS coordinates, then go to your mailbox and pick up a check. Apparently growing 20 plants is a shit ton of work, but 20 million of them is actually quite easy.

Shit dude. All that automation means more work is done. And it takes more work to do more work. Planning, logistics and maintenance, rise to the top. Dealing with the GMO rep, and the hand waving hippies, is something Old Joe never had to deal with.
