We are already dealing with it, but we long ago reformed our immigration system and there are plenty of legal immigrants coming, even with a housing shortage. What many people don't realize is we need to increase our immigration even higher to avoid demographic problems down the road. It's not because the government is "liberal", or a globalist vision, it is necessary in Canada and across most of the developed world where women are educated and emancipated. America actually needs those migrants, there is a labor shortage impeding growth and change and America won't reform its immigration system because, "they is taken over"!

Biden wants to deal,but the R's insist on 100% of their harsh agenda and want to rub Biden's face in it for the optics it provides in a election yr.,We can't have undocumented chaos and need a system. Other than that of course we need more people,immigrants bring fresh energy in their drive to succeed and the love/respect they inevitably develop for the country that bettered their and their children's lives is good karma in the bank for our nation. The Statue of Liberty has open arms for a reason as from the beginning immigration has been the fuel that feeds the engine. People need to remember that those rules still apply and are the foundation that built the US to greatness,and that wanting to slam the door shut ignores the fact that even if you are 6-7-8 generations in the US your forebearers came through that same door desperate to escape tyranny or in search of prosperity once,everyone's history in the US is traced back to immigration.

The only "real" Americans are the natives, but you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube...

Migration is causing problems in the liberal democratic west, in America and in Europe. Once it reaches certain levels more of the current natives get nervous and the more different the newcomers are the more worried, they become. However modern civilization and liberal democracy means multiculturalism and ethnic diversity, but they might need to tap the brakes a bit and give folks time to adapt. The southern border is a bit overwhelmed and a lot of the political instability and crime they are running from was caused by American policy decades ago and its drug problems today. America needs immigration and it's either gonna be these folks or Asians, middle east Muslims or Africans, Europeans generally don't want to come, and they have the same demographic issues and migration problems. People in poor corrupt countries see the good life on TV or the internet and they want a part of it, can't blame them.
