polenating plants?

hey guys! this is probably a stupid question to ask but i've been told a couple different things about it.

are males supposed to be in contact with/ or polenate the females? some people told me you are supposed to pull the males as soon as possible b/c if they polenate the females, the THC level goes way down but other people told me that they have to polenate in order for the growing process to take place.

so please, please help...do i pull the males or do i let them polenate??

thanks in advance

Depends on what you want to happen. If you leave the males to pollinate the female you will have seeds. If you pull the males you will have no seeds and more potant buds. Once a female is polinated it puts energy into seed production instead of bud production.

well i got like 500 seeds from my friend but idk if they were polentated...if they weren't, would they have sprouted? because they did...or will they just not produce bud?

Awww yeah they will grow. The female was pollinated which resulted ion the 500 seeds you have now. Seeds don't need to be pollinated. They are the result. You plant them, they grow up and make a plant. Depending on what there genetics are will determine whether they are male or female. You want females for there bud. Males just make pollin sacks that will pollinate the females making more seeds. Just think of how babies come along thats kinda how seeds get here. You need a female and male to make seeds.

The last thing you need is for your males to pollinate your females if you already have 500 seeds lol. I'm guessing your friend stored up random amounts of bag seed untill he got to 500. Seeds don't need to be pollinated they either end up a male or a female plant in the middle of their life cycle when you grow them.

okay sweet b/c she didn't know if they were in contact with males b/c it was actually her boyfriend growing...but i was taught to think that females already had seeds and they needed to be pollinated but after reading the forums, it sounds like they grow seeds after being pollinated or something...?

Yea can't have a baby without having sex right? Unless your the virgin Mary but thats another story for another day.

yeah i would pull the males the only time you wanna keep the pollen is if you have good genes and dont want to keep buying seeds. you have unknown gentitics and already have 500 seeds you should just ditch the males and grow some sensi
