PLEASE Need help with choosing outdoor autos

Long story short —> I’ve got a friend who grows outdoors where the conditions are prone to bud rot and or PM past September. I’ve tried to give him the earliest stuff I’ve had. Some have been better than others. This past year I gave him a freebie barneys farm AUTO I had and it solved all his problems. Except the yield was minimal.

Needless to say he wants to stick with the autos now but I’ve got no experience. He can start it inside and have it ready to plant outdoors around June 1. He’d like it to be ready for harvest mid to late September. There will be 1 transplant early which I’ve read isn’t optimal with autos. Does anyone growing outdoor with autos have any suggestions of some good autos strains? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I grew Blueberry last year with success. This year i'm going to try GDP hopping for the same.I think pretty much any Auto will do well outdoors.

Looking good so far but i do see a ting of nute burn on the tips. Autos generally don't require any nutes up until they start to flower.

Yes that is what I’d assume. I was asking because some flower real early and don’t yield well or isn't as strong as non autos That’s why I’m looking for info I’m sure different strains have different run times.

I know you’ve got to give to get. That’s also why I gave a time frame. Because what ever it was I gave my friend last year was done much earlier than it needed to be climate wise. It could have gone another 6/7 week and probably would have yielded better. Thanks

Thanks for the info everyone

Anyone else have a good auto they’d suggest. Decent yielder finish mid late sept. Basically 4-4.5 months germ to finish is the timeframe. Finishing early isn’t bad but not at the expense of yield and quality are the cost for it.

If it’s normal they don’t get as big or yield as much I’d imagine most outdoor growers would simply grow more of them to compensate. If that the common practice please let me know.

My average per auto is 1.5 oz in 4 gal pots. I know you can grow an auto in a 2 gal and get around the same results, depending on conditions. Outdoor does yield more depending on veg time, autos tend to flower 3-6 weeks after germination. My experience with six shooter and darkdevil auto was flowering at 5.5w. Blue diesel flowered at 4 week.

It's all about veg time, so yes to answer your question; you would grow more autos to compensate for an outdoor grow of regular or feminized plants.
