Please i need help lots of confusion

Are you vegging under your hps? Also i see thos buds are a sativa or hybrid atleast. ya this clone had been stunted from the start, but i know i didnt want to loose this strain. Its random unknown strain from a group of seeds i have had for over a year. This plant exploded in soil had only one cut survive. It took way to long to recover from a damn dog issue. ha ha ha. Once everything gets dialed in things will be uncontrolable im sure of it. My goal and what i will do with these dwc plants, is im going to veg them as long as possible im thinking nine weeks will be good. I will have to fimm and low stress train them to keep from haveing them touch lights at the cieling. I will put one plant per 600 watt light i have three but need a new ballast do to again my dumb ass mistakes. But its not the mistakes you make its how you learn from them. I like to see people back up what they say thanx for some believable pics. Alot people are trollers looking for some dumb blog argument.lol I appreiciate the info, dropped ppms to 750 on my bigger girl and 850 on the other just to see if there is any difference. Added aquashield at alittle less than 10 ml per gallon. When i changed the rez i put them in fresh cold tap water i let the water run for a few minutes then fill a seperate rez to put plant in. Clean the rez hardcore scrub errthang. I use distilled water for the rez and ph'd the bigger girl to 5.8 and my other girl at 6.0 again just to see if there is a difference. Like a said im going to make a switch to dyna line because there is an apperant difference in there product. I want to still use the soluble line that ff has. I have a buddy who has ran that shit for years. I believe that they help with the plants natural collors and help with taste. He never grew anything that tasted bad at all. Again will let everyone know how the drop in ppms is doing here in a few days. I can tell that the new growth is more lime color rather than dark. Cant believe i was nieve enough not to think about it my self. The older growth look great but maybe the darker green leaves made it look super happy. Notice that some of my oldest leaves down low were getting CRISPY like burnt wich def aint from my t8's. Thanks everyone forall your help and thank you guerilla medic for sticking it out till rez change.

yeah i veg under hps, and they are both hybrids: blue dream and power kush.something to keep in mind...if you get the roots figured out and get them eating and healthy, they are going to explode when you switch them to 12/12. most strains i've done have tripled in size over the first 2-3 weeks of bloom. if you have never been around water culture before you have probably never seen the kind of growth explosion that is going to take place. make sure you have plenty of ceiling height to work with. also make sure you know the conversion rate of your meter because a 700ppm reading on a .7 conversion meter = 1.0ec with a .5 conversion meter it is 1.4ec which is a huge difference. good luck

my ppm meter is fucked wich is wierd for Blulab. My girl down at the hydro shop has one coming in this week and will get a new pen. But any ways my Meter is ppm 500 700 and ec so i can use all. Im def want to achieve a good result and wont stop till i do. I convinced that fox farm base nutes are shit.

One thing to remember. hydro grows a lot quicker than passive systems. 6 weeks from clone or from seed? if from clone those plants are tiny. 6 weeks of veg should be a tree almost.

Oh ya since rez change and the aquashield i have notice a difference and infact the new groth had been stunted cuz i found some leaves that grew out with some curling and burnt tips. Floowed by nice new lime green growth. She shot up when she was first planted, then got locked with salts from overfeeding and ya ive learn and ive lost. As we all know with mistakes comes knowlage. Ha ha I still cant wait for dynagro, Will pick up soon. Again thanks for all the help.

I love the solo cup DWC...I wanted to do a seedling in cup of soil to dwc type thing when I noticed during bottom watering the roots were growing into the cup under the solo with the water in it...so just kept watering the bottom cup and the plant kept growing roots into the outer cup...but then cup started to like fall apart...

Also aquashield straight eats all the big bloom and turns water clear in a couple of days. Pretty cool to watch, ppms still act normal and gain with evaporation i have to add water about evrery 36 hours. temps in room are 72, having a hard time cooling it down ac still spits cold air and i have a fan in front. While my lights are on i have the ac on for 30 min off 15 so while lights off 15 min on 15off for 6 hours dark. I have to get that line for the ac unit.

an AC unit works much harder when it is constantly turned off then on then off again...also raising your electric bill.

might i suggest you turning your AC down to say 72/74 ish and leave it run.

it saves alot keeping it cool that way, because when it stays at 74 just the compressor kicks out when it doesn't need cooling, and circulates the air.

damn dude you will find out that your electric bill will raise considerably..not to mention the ware and tare on your AC unit.

besides 74 is like the perfect grow temp..ive seen grows and did them myself where the grow room hit 90+

just ask VoidObject..he lives in Texas! for God sakes..he prolly reached temps into the hundreds during his summer grows, and before he got his AC unit.

For sure but dont want it on 24/7 also its just high cool or low cool. Ive used low and high and see no diff. And 74 would be ideal if i didnt have single 4 gal resivores. I have to keep the room cool to keep the water temps cool. I how long should i run it for before cutting it off and how long off. Also running 24/7 will freeze the compressor so there must be a time to shut off.

Even though you are a shit head and think you know every thing..Even though you insulted me in another thread because you think you know everything I will give you a bit of advice for growing in DWC in high temps.. Think outside the box dude and look into Igloo coolers/ice chests.. If you want to use a big igloo marina ice chest as a reservoir or you want to go to home depot/lowes and buy those 5 gallon igloo sport coolers, the ones you see on the back of construction trucks..I used them in the past when I ran DWC because I live in AZ and it gets pretty hot here...Check out some of my old pics and the cooler buckets I used to use.

Is it the combo meter? I have to repair my chord twice now on the ppm side. I did it myself but its a hassle, especially for a 300 meter.

I have similar problems with my Hanna Grow Check combo I was going through probes once every harvest, I finally started buying the Hanna brand stoarge solution and now my meter has last me about 3 harvests so far. Are you guys keeping your meters in the Blue Lab brand storage solution ???

its not the meter reading that is off its the chord for the ppm wand, it gets pinched in the way it enters the housing and you need to cut it off and re-solder. Again mine has become semi-broken so it works when the chord is strentched to make contact like before.

When the chord is working the meters read everything, I never store mine in solution although I have BlueLAbs solutions (doubt brand matters).

Oh i see, Yeah I doubt brand matters I dont know I just started using the Hanna storage solution and it lasts longer, maybe I just got a bad batch of probes I dont know just throwing out some ideas.. Happy growing Buddah

My guys down at the hydro store said same thing on combo meters. Thus why a bought seperate meters. Oh and Beaverhuntr go fuck your self. Insulted? if i rember i just pointed out how many lights he had going? I had figured everything out was burning roots by to high ppm have seen massive amount of new rootgrowth and the plants have exploded. I have to raise lights daily.
