I live in the Midwest this is the first time i am attempting to grow. I should also mention that i am growing outdoors. Im using miracle grow moisture control potting soil my plants are about 2 and a half weeks old. i have noticed that some of the leaves have been turning brown and wilting at the edges as you can see from the pics. any ideas on why this might be happening would be great!

It wouldn't hurt to cover up your clear cups with tape.

vtek...I had the same issue when I used miracle gro potting soil. My guess is that MJ's roots need loose, well drained soil. Miracle gro has a tendancy to compact and restrict root growth and establishment. It's a good idea that if you do use MG, to mix in some peat moss and some pearlite. I especially wouldnt use moisture control MG. Overwatering is bad for all plants in general=root rot.

Yes, get the roots in the dark but MG has time released nutes and everytime you water, it releases nutes and thats why your tips are turning brown. Hang in there and it'll hopefully work itself out over time. Dont water but once a week. That soil definately holds moisture
First, thanks for all your help! so i made sure to cover the roots and i really havent been watering them alot but the weather has been so crazy out this way the last few weeks it will rain very heavy for 20-30min then the sun will be out 10min after that lol. I think im gonna start pulling them in when in rains so i dont end up flooding them ill try and post new pics once or twice a week thanks agan for all your support!
