I don't know anywhere to post this. But I would like to know the easiest way possible to grow good strains of Salvia D. out doors (In a forest or wooded area). I heard it's hard, but any tips, etc would be nice!

Salvia is only propagated by clone, so you wont find any viable seeds.
It a very easy plant to grow and completely legal in some countries. It grows huge outdoors as long as you mist it a few times a day.. they don`t like really dry air..a humid forest would be ideal.
If the temp drops below 40F they`ll turn black and die..other than that they are very hard to kill
Here`s a few that live in my kitchen window, the one on the left is a 2 month old clone from the plant on the right.

All right, thanks. It would probably be grown in the Appalachians of Virginia. And this may be a silly question, but do you smoke the leaves (dried out of course), or is there something else that forms? Kinda new to this, thanks.

I smoke it only occasionally these days, The leaves have trichs like weed but its not the same recreational high.
I was gifted my salvia plant (a wasson strain clone) about 12 years ago and these are its descendants so you only need to get one clone and it`ll soon fill a forest.

Yeah, it's now just the confusing issue of the legality/illegality that stands in my way... (Since I'd be ordering off the internet).

if any one needs a sight i have a good one for already started pants (not unrooted or barely rooted clones)
they are 30 bucks but they are already 8-12" tall and fully rooted with free shipping , with these you can make your own clones in a month or so.

If you seriously want Salvia clones, goto: www.sagewisdom.org/salviashop

These folks seem to know what they're doing, a lot free information and the prices seem fair.

Good luck & good grow.......BB

Most salvia growers will happily gift you a cutting.. if you can find a grower locally. If its legal in your country it will make it easier to find one. If not, then just look on the $45 as a one time payment ..you wont need to buy another.

i dont know wht its like in america, but in the uk my salvia plants hate being outside. they grow so much better inside, on the windowsill.

i have never heard of salvia having trichrome like things on its leaves tho??

to be fair tho, i wouldnt bother growing it at all, i dont care what other people say, salvia leaves dont do anything for you. you need at least 35X before you start tripping, and id be to worried about making salvia extract and getting it wrong.

to the thread starter, have you ever tried salvia before?

my definition of tripping is seeing shit. i got a bit giggley on 20x, but didnt see anything. and as for raw leaves, i can only ever get a liittle bit silly from them.

wow, theyve gotten rid of all their salvia, anyone know why??

I found several beautiful plants at my local nursery/ies. They have delicate flowers and the leaves look exactly what I've smoked before (it just gives me a little paranoid, little anxious feeling). I'm in Upstate NY. It's sold as a common garden plant and grows quickly.
