i will agree with all. i will put money on nitrogen difficiency. in the Bible he specifically mentions yellowing in the bottom of the plant means its a nitrogen problem. Here is some info. . . . . . .
Cannabis plants like good levels of N and a normal level of P
and K during vegetative growth. You need to pick a bag that has all
three, not just 10:20:0. When looking at chemical fertilizers you need
a mixture that has the first number higher or equal to the rest. 12-12-
12 is fine, 20-20-20 is fine, 12-6-6 is fine and 18-4-5 is fine. The 12-
12-12 and 20-20-20 are the best ones to find. Something like 8-20-20
is not suitable for vegetative growth. Bags with higher P are for
flowering plants. As a grower we do not transplant to new soil for
flowering. We simply use plant feeds to bring up the P levels during
flowering.. . . . . . . .

there it is. hope this helps.

Hi all, well, I have good news - it seems that my lady is making a comeback!! Have a look at pic #1 (taken a week ago) and pic #2 - looks like she has developed a new set of leaves over the last few days!!

I am still baffled as to what happened - my PH was fine, plant wasn't rootbound yet and the Lucas Formula provides plenty of Nitrogen....

My lady sprouted on Apr 11 - does she look ok for a plant this age?

Thanks to all who helped a newbie out...

Peace!

Hey kronic, that is great news and even after the early damage, it still looks great. I'm growing a few different strains and I've found some are a LOT more forgiving than others and they all react slightly differently to the same treatment so maybe yours just had a particular sensitivity to something. In any case it looks like the problem is all fixed. In similar situations when my plant has made a recovery I try and console myself by reasoning that if something is going to go wrong, better that it's a little nute burn in the early days than something really dire like a pest infestation or bud rot just before it's finished, so I will be hoping for you that you're all done with your share of bad luck for this grow. If things keep going as well as they're looking now and at the end of it you can say that this is the worst that happened on your first grow, you should be really happy. All the best with things from now on and keep us updated.

Hi all, well I've transplanted my lady to soil (the Moonshine Mix to be exact). She is growing about .5 inches a day. However, if you look at the new growth you will see that the leaves are a pale green and are seriously curling inwards.

Please let me know what you think - I am attaching 3 photos showing the growth of my plant over the last couple of weeks.

Thanks in advance!

Hmmm I have had similar issues with my plants, but they are under a 150w HPS and a couple cfls to the sides.
