i have been getting these weird leaves for around 2-3 weeks tryd cal/mag to see if it was a cal/mag deficiency but still getting them on older leaves starts of as a few lil brown dots then goes like this and crispy.
1.1 ec made up of canna A+B + cal/mag
ph 5.8
temp flicks around 70-80f

plant looks healthy (apart from the leafs with that) and is growing fast and nicely ????IMG_0480.jpgIMG_0471.jpgIMG_0472.jpg

I meant to respond earlier and forgot, srry.
I think you might have the start of a P deficiency. P deficiencies usually start to show at the end of the leaves where they turn grey and brittle. I pulled the below info from one of the many marijuana problem solver sites.
GS:leaf:

Figure 12 shows Phosphorus (P) deficiency during vegatative growth. Many people mistaken this for a fungus, but look for the damage to occur near the end of leave, and leaves the color dull greyish with a very brittle texture.

how long has this been happening? plants look fine to be honest, a little brown spot on a leaf is no reason to get all nuts.

@godslave- i think mine is dif to that bud it starts of a orangey brown and goes brown and dry but only on the one big leaf in the middle :/
@matthebrute - been happening around 2 weeks mostly on older growth i bumped it up to 1.4 ec today to see if this helps. just annoying to see it one day all nice and green then next day loads of brown bits its happening on my other plant aswell.

Ahhh hell, if it's only a leaf here and there on older growth, I agree with matt, don't worry yourself so much. :)

phosphorus doesn't like the cold....it doesn't like alkalinity, and it doesn't like wet soil. it doesn't travel well in those conditions.

purple stems......bronzing, crisping.....been there. reverse any of above-mentioned conditions if one or more do indeed exist.

It is never too cold in there 70f lowest. This might sound dumb but what does alkalinity mean? I'm doin it hydro no soil.
