Sup everyone. I’ve ran into a serious problem with my two ladies and figured I’d ask for some expertise. These girls are 38 days old in VEG. Grown from seed.

So here’s my setup and what I’ve been doing:

•32”x32”x62” tent
•cold air intake (from the bottom of tent)
•carbon filter exhaust(expelling from the top)
•600w LED
•5 gallon pots
•ffof soil w/ 30% pearlite
•18/6
•temperature 72-75 with lights on
•fox farms trio
• I feed 1-2 times weekly
• if my meter is still calibrated, my run-off is around high fives to 6.1... did I solve my problem myself? Lol

*Side note: I recently sprayed Neem oil during lights on (dumb mistake)...hence some burns. It’s the new growth that’s got me wondering .

They look over fed. To much nitrogen.
Do you think it’s overwatering? My runoff PH was low, so the last three feedings I’ve gave them plain water. Maybe a bit too much. I’m used to 3 gallon pots. 5’s are new to me. I appreciate it man!!!

How much do you water? It’s not nitrogen toxic anymore if it was in the first place. Nitrogen toxic plants have a very dark growth tip

Are you going full strength recommendations with the trio? Fox farm ocean forest can feed a plant for a month or more coming up from seedling. Idk. I’ve used fox farms ocean forest with just the grow big after the plant was a month and a half old at half strength tops. Plants do great.

Yes, I was mixing Grow big with big bloom( the organic food) thank you for the advice! Much appreciated

I recently flushed the last three waterings (plain spring water). 1 gallon went into each 5 gallon pot, each time. My runoff was high fives- low sixes

Shiny dark leaf ... heavy n.

1. FFOF will feed quite well on its own. No need to feed twice a week. Grow big is very concentrated and easy to use too much. Big bloom is the organic of the three.

2. Zero reason to check any runoff. EVERYTIME you water excessively to the point of runoff , you are actually leaching medium adding to the imbalance. Running spring water does nothing. In high over feed situations ( grower error ) should be the only time one would FLUSH so salt build up will begin to dilute. If you range the PH “ going in “ then you are fine. FFOF needs ph between 6.3-6.5 no more no less.

3. IMO put her on a water only regiment with a little calmag until plant burns thru excess.
Your plant will not starve.........

4. LED grows “ often “ require less intense feeding than say other grows like hps.
Watering and feeding are often more spread apart since plant doesn’t transpire as quickly as with hid/hps. You can run FFOF for weeks .... alone.

5. You will find a SIMPLE TOP DRESS of the same FFOF instead of separate Nutes are superior .
Plant has already acclimated to it and will readily feed from it.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the knowledge. I’ll be posting pics as soon as her next feed with added calmag! I’m thinking 1/4 gallon will suffice? Again, I really appreciate you, and everyone on this thread for helping me fix my screw up! I’ll keep the updates and pics comingBtw the genetic is purple sour diesel, flower should be interesting. I’ve had these seeds for years. First attempt. One of the stinkiest/ triched-upbuds I’ve ever seen.

Here’s an update! In the pics both were just watered about 3 hours ago with distilled water with added cal mag 1 gallon each plant. I also applied a topping of FFOF. Here’s where I’m at.
My leafs are still “V” shaped. I’m thinking the light is too intense? Time will tell. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated dude! Happy Friday:joint:

Hey everyone. I hope you guys n girls are having yourselves a great day. Last night was the beginning of week 3(flower).
Somehow last night, my 1 year old must have pressed a button on my timer because my lights were on when I checked back on them. They’re set for 2:00am - 2:00pm. I think they turned on from 2:— Am untill about 4 am. I’m so upset. Am I screwed?

I think you’re okay man. Pretty sure it’s 4hrs+ of a screwed up lighting that’ll mess with it. Just keep it on the schedule it was on and watch for herms.
Second piece of advice would be to maybe move the tent away from an area where your toddler could access it. Not trying to be a dick I swear :)

I appreciate your feedback. I’ve been watching for herms like a hawk. I definitely left them on the same schedule too.
Lol, yes I agree. The timer was outside of the room in the hallway closet...But he learned to open doors and got to it, ugh lmao. Now it’s in the tent room locked up like usual.

New growth seemed fine in pics, way overfed though. Leafs look waxy
