I have a plant that is about 2 ft tall been in veg for 2 months now she shown me some odd nodes. Can someone tell me whether i am ready to flower. I was under 18-6 for two months and now as of last week i am in 12-12.The first pic is top 1/3 of plant notice the small amount of lst. Neways it has a small node if you can tell no hairs but, i dont have a 30x mag. The second pic is of the middle stock there again is one small node. The third pic though is the tippy top right under the cola. there is a cluster i guess thats what it looks like to me. Now is it male of female. can you tell please help + rep of course.

From the pics I can't be sure, the second one looks like it has some male characteristics but the pic isn't "close" enough to tell. Let them stay under 12/12 and it will be obvious pretty soon. Looks like a sativa strain, sometimes they take a few weeks of 12/12 to show. What strain?

Get some more pics, close ups of very top and next few nodes down....

thanx guys for the replies yea i am scared it is male cause it was under some stress with nutes but, nothing horrible. Hope it is female im about to replant it and move it into some better lights getting them tonight. Do you think i should 12-12 it or was it a bad idea?

I would not 12/12 right after replanting. I personally would wait a week or 2 so if the baby gets stressed it has time to recover before the stress of flowering.

I know some say not to 12/12 after transplant but I personally always transplant into larger containers the day they go to 12/12. Its a space/container restriction thing for me and I do acknowledge I am probably losing a few days of "flower" time that first week while the roots fill the new container. For me I harvest when they are ready not at "8 weeks" so the extra days isnt a big deal. It certainly doesnt seem to effect the overall good health of the plants...

You can probably tell the sex by now... Whats the verdict? New pics?

Sorry dude, I hate to break it to you, you got a boy.:-| As soon as I see that little bud site start to rise up on a stalk, I call it and take action to protect any other flowering plants by isolating him from the girls before he lets anything go.

Male plants can be used for hash or making oil or cooking, you still have the two hydro plants don't you Gi?
