high to all of you,

im a newbie here at the forums, and im also a newbie at growing herbs.

i have 2 plants that is 4 inch tall with 3 leafs already growing, the other one is 2 inches tall but also have 3 leaves already growing

the 4 inch tall plant leaves are much bigger than the other plant.

i wanted to ask if there is a way to know if my plants a male or a female, (well im hoping that it is a female)

i just used seeds from a very good bud, (i dont know what it is called because in my country it is illegal to use herb, cultivate herb, but the herb is really good).

the leaves of the 4 inch plant is slim but long.

the leaves if the other plant is small but roundish.

please help, and also i wanted to put pics so that everybody can give an idea about it. but how do i put pics here. please help me.

Your plants are too young to determine sex. You post pics by clicking attachments when you post a reply in advanced mode.

You will have a while to go before you can tell sex. Have a read up through the general MJ growing and NewB section. 2 states of growing indoors. One is the Veg period (18 hours of light on average) The other is the flower period, 12 hours of light average) It is only when the plant matures enough or is put into 12 hours of light/dark that the sex will show.

You can create an album by going to Community, Drop down menu, Albums, Then on the right hand side, Create Album, once the album has been created, call it a name, save, then on the blue bar there is an upload Picture option. Click and then this opens a new window and from there you can browse your own pc' hard drive.

Using the post quick reply you can also post pics - at the top the reply bar (where bold, I, underline) third choice at the end of the bar there is a "insert image" icon where you can load the pics.

Though, even if you post the pics, there is no way of knowing yet. Post the pic anyway for "practice"

Hey Ice.

They are too young to show sex.

Eventually the females will sprout little white hairs.......... and the males will get Balls!

Long slim leaves could mean its a Sativa

and Shorter Fatter Leaves could mean its an Indica.....

Sativas usually grow taller....... While Indicas tend to be shorter and bushier............

Happy Growing!

many thanks to all of you, yeah ill be posting pictures later, but please don't laugh at my plants, i'm not that rich here in my country so i use recycle materials like old pot that my mom used for her gardening, i used soil in the plant box outside our house, i don't know what type of soil it is but it definitely has some worms that died there caterpillars and some crawling insects that when you kick them they will round themselves up and its crunchy when you step on them. in this way i can save my money to buy weed while i'm waiting my plants to grow hoping that there will be a female so that i will not have to spend money on buying weed here, and spend it on beers and pizzas and bars and clubs and etc. and i also wanted to really be a professional grower so that i can discover new strains here in our country, which here people really only know is goodshit and badshit, it's like either you get bricks or stalks, which probably you will want stalks than bricks.
