like will 3-5 seeds planted in pots grow under 4 24watt t5 lights, or does it need the 250watt mh light on the only reason I'm scared to turn the 250watt mh light on is because i think it fried one of my seeds that started to poke up out of the ground so i dug it up and re planted it but anyway please tell me what you think i should do about my lights all comments and options are appreciated

my light fixture is 2 feet long and it holds 2 24watt t5 lights on one side and another 2 24watt t5 lights on the other side with the 250watt mh light in the middle just to simplify the mess above this hahahahah

Gordo here, There was another thread with this same light fixture. Keep the plants two to three inches below/under the 24 watt t5 lights. The 250 watt is too hot and the plants don't need that much light. The plants are growing roots right now and will get taller. I use those clear plastic pint containers they sell blueberries or raspberries at the grocery store. There are holes for drainage and the roots are easy to see. Once they get started, you'll be surprised how quick they grow. Then I transplant to a gallon container, then I switch to the larger light. I use 150 watt mini sunburst. Don't over water, don't over feed with nutes. Less is better. We are our own worst problem. Time takes time. Let nature take it's course.

okay cool thanks man i appreciate it, Also should i add i 42 watt cfl i bought from walmart to the side of the light fixture so total i will have 4 24watt t5 lights on and possibly 1 42 watt cfl ? i have 3 pots with seeds i planted and 2 germinating in a towel so i plan on having 3-4hopefully 5 survive that okay light set up for a whille on these seeds right haha?
