ok so i bought a half ounce of some purple erkle fresh from the pickin' i suppose.
its been trimmed up and dried, but is still damp and extremely sticky to touch, but very rough to keep roasting when i tried to taste test.
it was in a samwich baggie for about a day, i just an hour ago took them out and hug them in a closet with my fan circulating air.
is this the right thing to do, or is there an easier faster way to dry this out?

if its just an ounce i would just leave it in a jar, pint size or larger and just leave it opened and check it about every hour until the proper dryness is acheived. hanging them will work faster and if your not keeping up with it then you will probably get some really dry buds.
just thought ide input. its not necessarily the best advice seeing as its coming from a newb but ide say your doing fine, just keep up with it so it doesnt dry out too much.

If they are too damp and you put them in an airtight jar you are asking for a mold problem. The fan may be a little much. It may dry them too quickly and affect the burn and the taste. I know you want to smoke em but if you let them air dry hanging up in a cool dark place you will get a better result.

if its already been dried the reason why its now damp is because the stems have water in them and because you left the bag closed the buds were re-wet. Cut off any branches that you can see and leave the bag open

this is what i do when i buy wet bud - put in a sheet of a4 paper, fold it over a couple of times and put in a warm place for an hour or 2.

Sounds weird but dries it out nicely!
