I did everything exactly the same as i have been doing for the last 2 years with less than ounce amounts. Open tube blast with frozen butane and material into water bath and then transfered to heating pad. Well i had it on the pad for about 2 hours at around 105 degrees and i noticed it turning to powder. It also smellskind of funny almost like butane is still left. When i apply open flame to it it shoots flames. How can i get the butane out if it went to powder? Why did it go to powder?

I recommend not using Nibo. I am pretty sure they started adding a perfume. I used it for years with no problems and now it is garbage.

Same thing happened to me one time, I done a bit of research and in my particular case I believe it was do to moister.
It's boiling point was very high, when a flame was put to it it sparked, butane still being in the hash.
I ended up heating it a lot more than I usually would until it went dark and sticky to get all the butane out and in essence partially destroying the oil.
Perhaps a more extreme purge than usual is needed or as stated ethanol or another run.
