Hi Guys

Ive been browsing here alot and cant find anything like the problem i have.

Firstly im from SA,,,

This is a pic of a plant that i grew outdoors last year(new for posting pics on here, lets see if it works)
I harvested the plant in December 2009.

I cut the whole tree down and it started growing again. I have put a few lights under my croc tank(9 * 24w CFL(warm wite) and 2 45w CFL bright white in some organic potting soil, lights on 12 off 12.

See in the pics how the tree starts to die, first pic was 21 Feb, second pic 27 feb and then 4 March. i have lost 5 of the main budding sites and dont know why. I first thought it was over watering(every second day) but even after 4 days of no water the bud sites still die. I used some organic fert in it,m you will see how the leaves turned from light green to dark green. The plant looks happy like like shit but just dies all of a sudden.

The only thing i could think of is that its dying from the main middle stem where it was cut when i harvested. its very dry and the branches start dying from the top.

Should i chuck this tree or keep it?

Thanks for the help, i know you prob tired of newbies posting help toppics.

Are you giving it any nutes and what's the temp like? It looks like one of the babies in the back isn't happy either.

Hey, the temps are around 28 to 28 degrees C. The babies in the back ground is just probably hermies that was growing in the same pot, they have been that size for more than a month. i just put them in there for the hell of it.
I have used Organic nutes that i got from a organic shop, will look for the name now.
Does it look like heat?

Hey there. Looks like you got a iron and sulfer deficiency. Try giving it some rusty water mixed with a bit of epson salt (1tsp per litre). Have you checked for any bugs or pests?

I have not really noticed any pests, but i have seen what looks like a mite a while back, could it be that?
Thanks for the tip, i will try that with the next watering. hopefully i can save a few bud sites :)

Which part of sa are you from? Cause you got all that sun? Normally plants should be well into budding outside and almost ready for the april. :weed:

 Also how long has it been in that same pot? If it's been in the same pot since the last harvest i would suggest you transplant her gently.

Hi
I have 1 cfl hanging in the middle of the plant.
Another 2 branches died :(

Im from Johannesburg and believe that weed bud and is ready to smoke december. i planted that first tree in June.
Do you suggest i put it back outside where it was? maybe it will save the little bit that is left of it.
I transplanted her in a new pot when she moved indoors

Hey! Yeah, I'm originally from Cape Town where we normally harvested in April :weed:

You've already gone 12/12 so I would leave it inside not to confuse the plant.

She is dying pretty quickly. It seems like it all started happening slowly when she came inside and got transplanted. What soil did you put her in? Have you tried the Epson Salt?

Okay,, the whole plant died :(:evil:

What happened was that the main branch was DEAD, it was so dry that i could snap it off. it started drying out where i cut it off when i harvested the plant in December.
So i think it was growing too quickly indoors and dried the stem out.

Oh well, started a few seeds and will make a grow log soon.

PS. we still have long days here, i believe the weed only startd to flower outdoors in the next month or 2
