The PS3 is fucked for right now since no one knows how to properly utilize the technology. Until the cell processor can be utilized to its fullest, Xbox 360 wins.

SEE?? SEE?? arugment! It wasn't a lie! .... like I said, I don't like arguments about this! there is no winner! not yet! there are good games for all systems! it depends on what you're into and how you want to spend your money, not how many processors or GPUS or physics procs are inside your toy! a more "powerful" console does not mean better games..... PC is still a legitimate option as well. there is no winner.

Anybody who says the XBOX version of GTA 4 has extra content needs to read up more....The reason XBOX owners have downloadable content is because they cannot fit the whole game on a disk .....therefore what you people claim is extra content is merely what the ps3 version already has....Ps3 is blu ray which hold lots more data than the xbox discs...I have both and if I had to choose I would say PS3 hands down:hump:

um, what? do you have a link with the info? everything I've read (and seen in video either online or on television from xbox reps and what not) has said that there will be some form of downloadable EXTRA content. not missing content because a blu ray disc has more storage space. I'm not saying 360 is better, or that GTA is better on it. Maybe I haven't read everything there is to read, but that is what has been said in the very recent past.

My Vote goes to ps3, has blu ray dvd player, just a blu ray dvd player is nearly the price of a ps3. xbox has an hd add on, but blu ray already won the dvd war and toshiba already announced that hd is dead.

so do yourself a favor and buy a ps3, in the long run its the best choice, plus haze is a ps3 exclusive, and the controllers are just beautiful, they are so perfect that they havent changed since the first ps, small compact, fits perfectly in your hand. unless you like the hugeeee xbox controller!
get a ps3 and get Gran Turismo 5.

lol wtf at you, haze sucked? its not out yet, mgs4 is goin on 360? is it fuck, know your shit, killzone rocked! but thats all in opinion, all i was trying to do in this post was help him make a decision, do reaserch before posting crap, personaly i love the xbox aswell its great has great exclusives. oh your half right on the processors but it does only have 1 its a multi-core which is still weaker then the 8 from ps3, and you tried to say xbox online is more reliable? state proof, there just as reliable as each other iv had no problems online no lag errors and the playstation network hasnt temporally being down(yet lol), xbox live is great also^^

PS3 is worth it just for the blu-ray player alone,put the operating system of your choice on and viola new computer!Xbox can do none of this and as the games get larger it will be able to do far less.And as far as Xbox live,the online features supported by Sony are FREE who cares about dependability with online gaming?Who really wants to pay to play something you already paid for? And since they are Microsoft the games are easily cheated anyways save data altered very simply so you aren't even paying to play with prestige.I own both one sucks one doesn't,one gets hot and turns off "with a light show"! one doesn't to wrap up my tirade Xbox sucks yes indeedy it sucks hard.

I have both and the XBOX 360 online gaming is way better than ps3. As a matter of fact i never play my ps3 and every time i buy a game i get it foe the Xbox. :peace:

PS 3 MAN, ps3 way better then x-box 360, i have a ps3 and my mate has an 360, ps3 r better in my books but thats just my 2 cents worth

I have no idea which is better. I 'm not into those kind of games. All I know is hubby has army and fishing games and can spend hours watching them. Thats why I dont feel too guilty about being on here so much.

i got both,got the 60gb ps3 a year ago and then i bought the 120gb 360 a lil over 4 months ago,needless to say i play the xbox more,ps3 has no good exclusives out,atleast not till socom comes out in sept,if u game like i do u will know that the games that come out for both consoles get a better review on the 360,like madden 08 with the 30 fps on the ps3 and it is 60fps on the 360,i got the 2 sitting next to each other,just compare the online experience xbox got more to offer all the games,movies and tv shows u can get,ps3 gotta get out of the mustard and ketchup. psn: shortybighead xbox live: sh0rtybighead. i got cod4 for both consoles and imo its better on the 360, and they released the nu maps like 3 weeks before ps3

Well then by that logic, the cell processor is only 1 processor but has 8 cores... Multi-core processors are essentially multiple processors built into 1 processor. So it's still 3 processors. Xbox live has been around for 5-6 years now where microsoft has had time to update, tweak, and patch xbox live making it reliable and effective which it has been. It also offers achievements to add more goals to games. You can even rent movies off of xbox live marketplace. This is Sony's first attempt at an online community like xbox live...

Also, I used to work at GameStop for a year and 6 months. The job sucked but I got some exclusive content since we would have Sony reps and Microsoft reps come in the store and give us free shit. One of them was a Haze multiplayer beta. It wasn't that good.

the xbox 360 is a better investment at this point and time.


it has a better game lineup....better online setup.


i have a ps3, but i've only got 1 game; resistance: fom. i was going to get the madden but they fucked up the fps. ps has a long way to go with the game launch.

hell they are even having glitches with GTA on ps3.


i only use my ps3 for blurays.....they are great!!!

Later this year, when MGS4 comes out packaged with the new PS3, a PS3 is looking like something to get. Even though MGS4 will eventually be released on the xbox 360.

Before i even thought of buying an x box i'd spend some time researching the extremely high failure rate of the machine,i read in this thread where people are claiming the ps3 has drawbacks also & comparing these drawbacks to the x box 360,this is nuts,the ps3 has a failure rate of less than 1% & the x box 360 has a faliure rate of 33%.

Does anybody else think that an electronic device with a failure rate of 1/3 of the total product built demonstrates an inherently faulty design.

PS3 is the clear cut winner between the 2 units.

without games what does that matter? without a reliable server for online play....its useless in today's gaming markets
