Works with any microscope app but I haven't found one I like yet.
Also haven't figured out how to get the "snap" button to work yet.

Yeah, I've got the same one. It works pretty darn well with Windows controlling it as a camera. The software that came with it doesn't work worth a darn though. But still, for $20 it was worth it. But I still wish the software worked as advertised.

Are you holding the scope by hand? Is it hard to focus?

Yes, I'm holding by hand, and yes, it's a little hard to focus.
It's super shaky when you hold it by hand, but I can get a few pictures like this.
Honestly though, I don't really care about the pictures as much as been able to see the trichs, which this does perfectly fine.

Sounds great. I have a handheld 60-100x scope and it gives me a headache to get a good look. I think this might do the trick! Thanks for the post and response!
