Played?

I think I have been played by Nirvana. not sure yet. still doing some research to figure this out or not.

anyways heres the low down
in august i ordered some papaya from them 5pack of fems.

they got in here in no time. took ten days.

i had 90% fail rating with the seeds they sent me.

I spoke with "alice" via email about this. was very polite to her, one response she says to me, "whatever or seeds always work"

after a few emails back and forth she tells me she will ship out more seeds for me.

its been exactly ten business days since she told me she shipped them out.

i received them today. only to find a crumply photocopied (shitty print) piece of paper from us gov saying they were confiscated.

what gets me about this is,

wouldnt there be a small delay in shipping if they were confiscated.

wouldnt the package have been opened and re-sealed.

wouldnt the gov send out a nicer looking/nicely folded letter. rather than some crumby old looking photocopied piece of paper.

on the bottom it has a a case number with four sections empty where someone hand wrote in four numbers in the middle of the whole number.

ie...

2008-3901-10 (5250)-01

the numbers in () were the hand written ones.

just seems fishy to me.

do you think I should be worried about LEO breaking down my door?

I wouldnt be worried about anyone breaking down your door. I've heard if they find it all they do is give you a letter like the one you got. But that does sound really fishy that it was all crumbled and a part was hand written. To be honest I don't really know. She could have been pissed at you and let the cops know, she could have sent the letter, or they could have really been confiscated. Either way....screw Nirvana from now on. I've never ordered from there.....but have heard enough bad things to prevent me from ever doing so.

I wont be ordering from them anymore thats for sure.

I am trying to find out more information on how the confiscation works. this letter just looks to crappy to be sent out by the us g

and it was nevered opened. no way. unless they somehow melted the glue and re-sealed it. there was no signs of entry into the letter.

I think that nirvana thinks i was trying to fuck them, and they decided to try to scare me.

what else is weird they changed the stealth style.

I would say it was nirvana screwing you then. Even if the envelope was scanned and they saw the seeds in it...I don't think thats grounds for them (Feds) to open it. They could have been seeds from anything.

customs will definitely scan your packages and open any package they find marijuana seeds in.... they are pretty distinctively shaped and customs has alot of experience with confiscating seeds so im pretty sure they can figure out which are marijuana or not. it doesnt make sense that it was crumpled and shit though... thats kinda fucked up. you should always go with attitude and pay the extra 10 or so bucks for the stealth shipping... they guarantee it and will always resend them if you dont receive them or they are crushed... make sure you call them not email them as they will not really talk through emails to people in the USA a whole lot about this kind of thing.... i have heard alot of bad things about nirvana, not just their poor shipping habits but also that the seeds genetics arent that great. good luck next time!

in 2006 patriot act was expanded allowing us customs to open international mail without a warrant.

i have found that everyone that has had their mail opened has had it re-sealed with green tape saying that it was opened by the us customs.

like i said before there was no green tape and no signs of it being opened.

nirvana just thinks i am a idiot american and will get scared by the letter and leave it at that.

i will leave it alone, because i dont want any enemies and name-calling via the internet isnt gonna solve anything. now i know to just stay local and breed my own.

Over the many years I have spent on numerous sites like this the very large number of messages I have read about Nirvana ripping people off or shipping shoddy gear.

I have read numerous messages where someone was ripped off, nothing ever shipped or what was shipped was worthless, and when they complained Nirvana threatened to rat the person out to their local law if they did not stop complaining.

Add to that the stories told from people I know/knew or just met that were also horror stories and I cannot understand how Nirvana has managed to remain in business.

Here is another interesting thing about this whole ordeal. the letter came from the port of chicago.

umm international mail for new england as far as i know will come threw either nyc or boston. why would it go to chicago which is in the middle of the country compared to say the east coast of new england.

I have purchased a lot of beans since the Patriot Act and not a single package has been opened and I do not personally know anyone whose package(s) have been opened.

The right to open them does exist but what makes the overwhelming majority of bean orders get through is a combination of the massive volume of mail/packages that passes through Customs and their priority list of what sort and size of packages is closely inspected and or opened.

They mainly look for certain things, certain priorities and in most cases when beans are found my GUESS is that either the package was accidentally torn open at some point in shipment making it very easy to see inside and possibly spot something of interest to Customs or the person who ordered the beans tried to save on shipping and chose the least stealthy method of shipment making their package very easy to spot as being something questionable.

Spring for the best stealth option a seedbank offers and if they offer it pay the extra for guaranteed shipment and AVOID NIRVANA!

I can tell you that they will no longer receive any business from myself or anyone in my crew. if you didnt want to send me a replacement package why go threw all the bullshit to send me what looks to be a fake customs confiscation letter.

I felt burned the moment I opened the first package and saw the little teeny tiny puny seeds.

from now on i will be getting my seeds from local growers. some of our genetics have been around for over 30 years and they are mighty strong.

i just had to be the different kid and look at what i got. i payed 40 bucks for one seed that grew.
