Nothing much to report. Gsc is growing strong and fast.I'm thinking about using a trellis to hold her down in sort of a scrog style grow. Reason being is because I don't want her to get burned by getting any taller during flower. No defficancies, so supersoil so far holding down. As for my starwars collection and alien OG. Earth OG and lemon skunk. They are all growing strong, but are getting stunted by over growing there pots. So this is my last training on them then I'm transplanting to their final homes before flower. (thinking about 10 gallons)
last gsc veg update

final training for others, notice og growth habits.

ive been wanting to share some of my other hobbies with plants and animals with yall.
2nd vivarium set up.
its in a 20 gallon fish tank, terristal style set up. (meaning set up for a dart frogs that is more customed to living on land, other then aroboreal)
dnt have any frogs in there yet but i got some cool plants native to central america. as well as some glow in the dark mushrooms that i inocullated on the wood logs.
hopefully in about a month or two when its more stable i will purchase my first pair of dart frogs.
will keep yall upated.
IMG_0329.jpgIMG_0330.jpgIMG_0328.jpg
over 10 diffrent plants in here, all have their own diffrent part in this vivarium ecology.

in a month or two this will look more like the jungles of central america!!!
hobbies like this gives me a better understaning on nature and especially plant growth habits. :leaf:

Sorry for the quality of pics, can't find charger for camera so I'll use my iPad for now.

Where should I begin?
Well I recently moved into a new beautiful home, I've been anxious to get something started other then my 4x4. I didn't want to go all out and modify my electrical, so i decided to go with a 9x9 grow tent (if y'all want to see all out you should check out my commercial spots haha). The tent it self is a gorilla grow tent. It's by far the best quality tent I ever used. Heavy as fuck! But good quality. Check their website, especially the YouTube video, pretty cool. http://www.gorillagrowtent.com/

anyways I decided to take out my plasma led set up from my dr120 and dedicate 4x4 section of my 9x9 grow tent for my led plasma grow. I went with this route with more pros then cons. Main pro is I have more flowering room for this huge gsc!! Plus now I can experiment with height distance with plasma and LEDs. ANyone have suggestions on how far or close I should have these lights? Currently they are ago two feet away? (With my dr120 twin I was very limited in height space.) I dedicated a 4x8 section to 2000 hps watts. There i will be flowering about 10 plants. And the remaining 4x4 i will close it off with mylar and make it a "2nd" veg stage. Im still working out some perks but Im now able to manage space and tempature with no problem. I am having a small noise issue, there's no reason for anyone to be near my home, but if a thief, rat or pig was around and got close to my walls, they would for sure be able to hear the inlines. Any suggestions in sound proofing?
My dr120 is still fully operational. I put in a predator series king cobra reflector(doesn't get any bigger then this) and I will be flowering my aliens OG in there.
Hopefully this is my last run with hps in my personal life. If all goes well I will retire these hps and go all LED.
Enjoy the iPad pictures.
Lol I have one pic I just have t share with y'all!!!! Hope I don't get in trouble. Let's just say this is why Americans have such a bad name all around the world!

Dr120 1000watts aliens and some cute little girlscoutcookies. Ready to flower in two days

Well they seem ok,
what would be signs of the lights being too far?
What distance would you have them in? Or anyone?

I am very jealous of your setup, I wanted to buy one of those Gavita's as well, but instead I bought 2 more SolarStorm 400w LED's, but ultra happy with the investment. My recommendation on distance for the lights over the canopy would be to keep them no more than 24", but 18" preferably. Like PSUAGRO said, invest in a PAR meter and you will know what your prime height for each light will be, the plasma will probably be a little different than the LED.

Yep it's a sulfur plasma friend(luxim engine)........^^^ love the strain choices......I'd flip asap! gonna get outa hand fast with those sat dom's :P

good luck grower

Hey so according to whazzup, he said lep is not sulphur plasma or am I mistaken?
Heres his quote.
"LEP is not sulphur plasma. SP lamps are primarily fast rotating lamps with fans and motors inside them and work on sulphur in the cell. They do not emit UV light and are not suitable for greenhouses as they contain moving parts. LEP is based on metal halides instead of sulphur and a solid state construction without any moving parts. It does emit UV, including high quantities of UVC This UVC needs to be filtered out because it is very damaging for the eyes and ultimately the crop at high intensity. Never use the plasma light without the special glass filter. If you break it, order a new one because replacing it by normal glass will cost you the UVA and UVB. "

Nice . Looking good . Like the shicane style straining. Do you know if there is a seed company that does gsc or is it like bull rider where you have to get lucky and know the grower who has it. My girl keeps telling me I have to get it. I do not like to grab clones from dispensaries. Most of the time they are not what they say they are.

No seed company has this strain, if they claim they do it's not the real gsc. (from what I've been told and read on many forums)
It is one of those strains that everyone should try, problem is its really rare.
truth be told, all the hype around it made it such a controversial strain.
People started to advertise fakes on Craigslist, selling them for $100s. ultimately gsc became capitalized by anyone who really owns it. I've had offers up to $50 a unnrooted clone lol.
Your best bet is to drive to San Fran and hit up harborside collective. They definitely have the real cut. Good people too.
In my situation i was lucky to get my hands on it. I went to humbodlt to visit relatives and i came back 1000 miles with a rare jewel;)
I was hella paranoid at the time because it was harvest time so there was check points everywhere lol.

Party on Garth

Grand daddy purp seeds has a nice cut of gsc called ken's cookies. Haven't seen any seeds available from them yet, but the clones are super good. Theres some authorized collectives that carry them in the sf bay area. Party on Wayne.
