is it normal for fan leaves to be yellow around day 20ish flowering? I know they get yellow and i know why.. im just wondering.. isnt it kind of early still?

flowering plants should recieve a good dosage of nitrogen in 3rd week floweing and that should do it. they yellow and die as they get older. you dont want a big nitro deficiency in the early stages of flower and lose a bunch of essential fan leaves or it will drastically affect your yield.

the yellowing is just from the plant using up all the protiens in its being to produce buds, its normal to yellow, but not alot of yellowing.

ok guys the 1 plant that has alot of yellow also has some brown spots on the leaves.. it cant be heat stress cause other plants are fine and idk i dont think nute burn but 2 fan leaves toward the middle of the plant are completely brown shriveled and dead. It sucks and i hope my babey isnt dying cause here buds are coming along nicely. Ill try to get some pics up ><

hurry up and flush it. it is very important to stop it quickly before more leaves domino on you. sounds like a ph problem. if i noticed my plant is having aprob i cant figure out i will asap flush the shit out of the soil then the last gallon will be 1/2 strength nutes so she will continue flowering. once the leaves start dominoing off your plant your yield could be so gretaly affected.

I have on doing the same thing. don't think mines as bad as yours. It's about half way up the plant and moving slowly. Did you flush like aladdin suggested? I was going to tomorrow.

you will notice after afew grows under your belt that how important those fan leaves areduring the plants budding process. it is so essential that yield is affected. when your plant is finished look at a branch that has a fan leaf and all leaves that are suppose to be on that branch. now look at ones that have lost them very early. there will be a considerable amount diffrent in weight, size for sure. i noticed with mj that it dominoes very fast if not corrected asap. it will start on bottom then work up all fan leaves then other vital leaves will domino on you the same way. sure the bud leaves are green but there is not enough foilage to support a GREAT yield. just try not to lose any leaves in flowering unless it is natural.

In pic 6/7 You can see the chunk of foliage missing due to dead fan leaves. Not sure what caused this but my other plants are just fine.

hey plantz did you ever flush her like i suggested?
Actually yes i did, right before you suggested flushing i thoroughly flushed the soil in my bathtub. All the fan leaves are dead so it wont do any good now.. the PH is roughly 7.0 (nuetral)

so...if ur in soil ur ph should be around 6.8. if its hydro its 5.8. but it looks like u are having a phosphuros problem. i had the exact same thing happen to me, even harvested early because of it. i didnt know tho about lucas's formula. its spos to keep that from happening if you are using the 3 part GH.

how many days are you in flowering? if your within the last 2 weeks just continue flushing until done. if your going a while still, what i do is flush then the last gallon will be at 1/4 to 1/2 strenght nutes. are you aerating your water/ nutes?
