Plants will start budding soon and I need help with HUMIDITY!!

Hey everyone,

I am growing in a very small tent only 2ft x 2ft x 4ft. During the day my humidity avgs. at 40% while at night gets upwards of 65 - 70%.

Being such a small space I figured it wouldn't be hard but during the day run a ac unit (not at night b/c temps drop too low) and there is a dehumidifier in there and two fans so why is the humidity still so high??

I'm a newbie so if I'm doing something wrong please HELP!! I just don't want bud rot to form as the plants get dense.

Any information will help!

Thanks!

Does your a/c not adjust to a cannabis friendly temp?

its impossible to maintain a stable environment in a small tent. high humidity is never an issue provided you have good air circulation. plants need air circulation around the leaves to transpire which pulls nutrients up into your plant so it grows. good luck but i suspect mom will find it

Well I live in a high humidity location and it has great air circulation breezy when I walk in. I just suspect that the hot humid air in the room being circulated doesn't drop the humidity much?

My tent is 20" W x 36" L x 60"H. I am able to maintain extremely stable conditions. Day temp is 79 night temp is 66, rh is in 35-45% range and I have plenty of air circulation. I don't personally think maintaining a stable environment is quite that impossible. Just Sayin'

As I was told by a very experienced grower,"you and your girls are going to have to learn how to get along"
Which really means do whatever makes her happy... and that has always been the case.

Sweet Thanks for the fast reply's everyone! I've heard more than 10*F difference per day could be bad?

I guess It's not true?

Thanks!
To some extant this is true...but as long as they stay above 60 degrees or thereabouts and below 85 degrees or thereabouts you are golden. I have even stretched day temps to 88 and 89,,,no issues.

Before upping or lowering nutrients...check your ph levels, read the info in the links, and use the search feature here on RIU...draw your own conclusions.
