The dial on the timer had one of the half hour notches wasnt fully locked in during the 12 hour dark period. causing like a half hour of light in the middle of the night. the plant started stretching and I had no idea why until i took a look at the timer. the plants were suffered through this for over 2 weeks.. Here we are, obviously no going back and getting toward the last 3 weeks. Do you guys think I should add an extra week or two to the flowering times, play it by ear and just keep checking with magnifier? My only concern is there seems to be two different stages of growth, the initial approx 5 weeks and then the new growth since the timer was fixed. I know now to buy a nice digital timer in the future.. Any help or shared experience is much appreciated.

i would even go with a 11/13 or 10/14 for the remainder. you may end up with a staggered harvest even so, be prepared to harvest each bud as it matures, not just chop the whole batch at once.

You accidentally did what's called the "gas lantern routine". Supposedly a way to keep them in veg without using as much electricity. Watch the trichs.

Can you post a picture of the plants?

You will need to watch very closely for hermies. You will likely see male flowers forming in your lower/older flowers, either now or over the next two weeks.
