plants tooooo tall

im having a real problem here....my plants are growing tall nd not getting more nodes ive been pruning them but some jus continue to grow too taller faster than they are getting there nodes what can i do?????

Sounds like your light is too far up from the plants, and they keep reaching for light, try lowering the lights as low as you can to the plants without feeling too much heat on your hand so you dont burn the leaves, a pic can help too....

My first question is what kind of light setup do you have? Those plants are stretching because they are not getting enough light.

And no, there is nothing there to clone. How old are the plants?

These plants are a month or less old

Definitely sounds like a light issue.

Clone??? your kidding right? dude you must be using flourescent light...need more of it or switch to Metal Halide. if you are using flouro, you can get as close as 2-4". MH/HPS 10" and more. Whatever you decide with the light, it would help you to put up a white or shiny reflective backround so any of the light you do have is at least being reflected back to the plants as much as possible, but that alone will not solve the problem. you need to hurry up and add more light otherwise you will have supertall plants with long, weak branches and low yields.

I swear i had this problem last year. I'd say either those plants are males, or you need MORE lights, side lights increase Mid-Node Size, More light=Lumens, more photosynthesis, and then more bushiness. If i were you I would start over, or get them stems in more dirt so your shits dont be gangsta leanin after a certain point. Especially before flowering (if you make it that far with this). TransPlants your plants dude. Notice the middle nodes @ 30 Days Old

them plants look like shit, and those clear make shift plant pots are leaving your roots exposed. and your plants will suffer and keel over like an old bitch that had a stroke.

^^^^ LMAO Very true tho! Haze Take these guys advice if your really going to take it serious and upgrade your light, and try to transplant to keep the roots from being exposed to the light, otherwise just roll up a joint and keep reading up =)
