Plants growing in winter

i threw two seeds in the ground about a week ago never checked on them or anything and i woke up today and went and looked and they are about 4 inches tall which is strange because we had a frost 2 days ago and i figured they would have died i live in florida and its been averaging 40-65 degrees out lately. ill post more pics up later i think im going to leave them there just to see what happens

i didn't even plan on them living lol they were just two extra germinated seeds and i planted them in the ground so can't really move im jsut going to leave them and see what happens

you didnt have to water them or anything?? i got a cabin in the mountians that in the spring i want to go plant a couple wild ones in the woods just didnt know if i could plant them anywhere or if they had to be close to the stream, has yours been getting water from somewhere or just the dew and moisture in the air

yea it rained like once lol but i am growing them near a bunch of bananna trees the soil is really hard packed but its moist and very rich
