Plant too short/compact. Can't LST and...

...even can't water without fertilizer water covering smaller growth and leaves.

What are the factors promoting such type of growth?
Next time I may want to avoid them

show us some pictures. there is no way we can tell what your seeing.

if your talking about growing side branches all the way down the stem to the medium, thats normal. i just pluck mine off so it gives me a air passage and a way to see when i water.

If you want it to stretch just raise the light, but most autos are bred to be compact

What is the strain, and what are your temps?

It's Auto NL by Sensi Seeds, and my temperature is around.... 84F.
I thought about raising my lights, but wouldn't that also slow growth?

I'll post pictures if I can catch the 'issue' with my lens.

My main prob is there is so much hidden in that small plant. I want it to show herself to the lights.
But there is nothing I could tie anywhere. It's in its 23rd day from sprouting.

So... the main question is still: What factors are promoting this type of growth?

My mindset was that autos start flowering in the 4th week, and lst was to be started early, AND during veg.

Maybe it's possible its not possible
