Hey, I need to move my plant..
I cloned it in the beginning of the spring, it was the smallest little clone that refused to grow and just sat there for 2 months in the spring, when I put it in the garden it didnt do anything for another month.... It was hidden by other plants so you couldn't see it at all..... but for some reason after that it decided to explode, It got mega huge, and everything around it died.... I kept it tied down... and it got bushy, Its just starting to get small clusters of hairs on all the tops.

I have some soil bags tied up to block it from view, but it is just a few feet from my neighbors window... and i'm getting worried about the smell...
I'd like to move it to another location in the yard... but I dont want to damage the roots. I'm going keep as much dirt around it as possible.... transplant at night, and fill the hole with water before I fill it in with soil, is their anything else I can do to ensure I do as least harm as possible?

I'll post pics when i can figure out how.... lol

Chill. Moving a plant is no big deal. Just dig around it keeping as much of it's root ball intact as possible. Then - dig an even bigger hole where replanting - twice the size if possible. Put some garden soil (bag from Lowe's or the Depot) in the hole, then the plant and fill. Water thoroughly. At this point, wash your hands and grab the coldest beer you can find and then gaze at your work while the droplets of condensation slowly drip down the bottle. Oh - I envy you.

Here are the pics, the plant is waist-chest high, way bigger around than I can reach my arms, and right infront of the window :s

their has been crazzy wind storms all week so I haven't had a chance to do anything yet, but I plan today or tomorrow to dig the hole and get it moved

No...your not hiding anything in that corner.........No matter where you put that plant in that yard, you`ll smell it across the street soon.

I'm not sure what to think about my neighbors.... Ive been growing in my yard for 5 years... (hiding it from the neighbors on both sides) i'm sure they've see them before.. my dad claims that she told him we had nice plants last year... but I'm not sure what to think for sure... I still dont like it infront of the window though incase they have company or something..

2 years ago i noticed the other neighbors on the other side of the house had 3 plants, 4 or 5 times the size of mine, but they moved last year :(
With the new neighbors i always hear the husband coughing quietly like hes hiding it and I can smell burning weed... so i'm not too worried about them

To me the bags and tarps look more suspicious than the plant itself. Have you thought about buying some fake flowers tying those onto it. Tell people they are dahlia's, which happen to bloom late in the year and are quite hardy.Their leaves are similar to pot leaves.

I think digging it up will end up bad, but that's just my opinion. I have moved lots of trees and perrenial flowers and they live but they don't thrive by any means that first year.
