can we get a scratch n sniff pic?

seriously though, i have no clue what you mean by fertilizer smell. most ferts i have used smell like a butt hole. if that is what your refering to then yeah i would start over with new genetics. if by fert smell you mean a chemical smell.....its prob the strain. does it look ready to come down?

yeah its a chemy smell sorry ferts wasnt the best word. Its Mataro blue, supposed to be fruity blueberry and yummy. Some of the clones from it have had the chemmy smell and most havent. basically those had been grown in MG (its bad. thus coco coir) so i dont understand how a plant grown in coco could have the smell. at one point though, it did smell mouth watering. then literally one day (i think it was hot and got up to 89 or so) the smell changed to chemy but since then the temp hasnt gone above 84 yet that fucking smell remains. could high temps have something to do with it?

this is a strange story. i have harvested a ton of plants but this never happens. once however while growing blue widow, i noticed around the end of the cycle, it started smelling like windex. this is genetic though because its offspring did the same thing.

soil is the way... your trying 2 make an indoor grow natural.. so use natural materials. BE ORGANIC.

although thats a nice comment i dont believe the soil is the culprit in this case (however incredibly important), simply because he says it smelled great till the final week.
