Plant Problems

ok heres the story.....one of my plants got eaten by a damn squirrel at the very top and pretty much topped it. it has been 3 weeks and it hasn't grown any taller and the hairs on the buds at the top of the plant are brown, but all the buds lower than that have white hairs with some of them barely redish brownish. the only buds that seem to be growing fast now are the ones towards the bottom. Does this mean the buds at the top are already mature? Also this plant's buds are not dense AT ALL, how do i fix this?? One other problem with the same plant is i over fertilized it cause i used shitty soil that doesn't drain very well so the fertilizer built up and struck the plant. How do i fix this, in a very cheap way that is, lol. My other plant is doing way better then this one cause it hasn't been eaten and it has dank soil. CAn anyone help me please!!!

Greens how are your plants flowering already? Where do you live? Did you put out clones?

The buds might be mature if the hairs are turning brown, to be sure you should get some kind of magnifier like a jewelers loupe and check the trichomes(the frosty stuff, lol) when they are like 50/50 cloudy/amber its ripe for the picking, if you look at the trichomes below they will be clear still probably since you said those buds have white hairs still. As for the fertilizer build up, Id say start watering daily with straight water. Are these in pots?

Im baffled to how you have flowering plants, you really need to post some pictures. People could help you more.

i live in so cal and i started in december in a home built greenhouse until the beginning of march and then i moved them into a different location cause when one of my plants was a male i took it out of the greenhouse and set it away from the rest and someone took it and not my females luckly....so i moved it away in a tree bush thing called a sumak.. and ok i will try to find a magnifyer but is there another way to tell? and yes they are in pots. and about watering it every day...wont it start wilting because the soil in this pot is shitty...i was desperate at the time for soil cause the roots were growing out of the first pot i had it in, so i stole some of my neighbors soil and then used dirt around the house and mixed it into a 5 gal pot....i used only a little of their soil so they wouldn't notice haha. and i am not able to get pictures on the internt....i have no digital camera. it sucks.

and what do you mean put out clones?
'

Were they cuttings from a med club or did you grow from seed?

But I understand now, you started in December, if you dont have a way to keep them flowering like that greenhouse, they will probably reveg soon, so you might want to chop if you got some nice weight on those girls right now. Have you noticed some one finger curly leaves start growing? Thats a sign they are re-vegging. If you plan to keep them growing though, you need to get that fertilizer build-up out of there and a water flush is the only way I know.

i grew from seeds. What is reveg? and no this plant doesn't look like it has a lot of bud, because it's buds are not dense at all...like maybe im not getting enough sunlight on it...but my other one in the dank soil is looking wonderful and dense :)
and nope i have seen any one finger leaves, but ya some of the leaves are curly.

also im getting around 4 hours of direct sunlight and 5 to 7 hours of scattered light on it, because im trying to avoid helicopter detection. thats why its in a tree bush haha

Re-veg is when the budding stops and the plants go back to a vegetative state, stop producing buds. The days are getting longer, Im not real familiar with your climate but Im guessing they might already be re-vegging.

well the buds on the top 2 levels of branches, so a total of 4 branches, are the only ones not growing...the ones towards the middle are growing slowly and the bottom section of the plant are growing pretty quick right meow.

im in So cal as well and the same exact thing is happening to my plants at the moment and i was wondering wtf was going on with them and I did the exact same thing you did plant in December, that was a noob mistake but I will probably never do that again. I will go take a few pictures of my plants and throw them up here and lemme know if your plants look similar if they are then hopefully we can both get an answer.

I didn't have them in a green house just had them out in my backyard stashed away in a corner. But I have my card so I dont really trip about the helicopters. Trying to get some clear pictures, this is my brothers camera so ill ask him to help me get some clearer pictures.

ya i'd say its re-vegging too..

the ripper buds will be more stony the more under devolped buds just won't be as potent and proly have more of an up buzz..

thats my 2-cents
