Plant PH question

I am stumped because my plant soil is at a ph of 8 so I need to drop it with ph down. I put ph down in my gallon of water and it is at 6 as of now. I am going to use tiger grow in my next watering but it lowers the ph again. Is it alright to water my plants with a low ph water or will that harm it somehow. Also my plants are just going into flowering now.

in soil, you need the rootzone ph to be around 6.5 ph. to achieve that, growers put dolomite lime which has a neutralising effect and water with 6 to 6.5 ph. you do not want your soil to become much more acidic than that, so it is not advisable to water with more acidic water
