You'd probably be better off growing indoors.
For the past few weeks I've been planting some 'last chance' seeds, but unfortunately none have even sprouted, which I'm a bit disappointed by. I'm going to grow little plants indoors now until spring. While I don't have much room/privacy, I'm sure I'll be able to get more than I would with a plant that was outdoors with only about a month until frost.

I live in Northern Cali and just put three, three inch seedlings that I just got. Planted them outside in the woods just to see what will happen. Doesn't really ever frost here, so I think I'll be cool until November at least.

I am in Northern Cali and they would be fine until November. They won't grow much though so if they are three inch seedlings right now, you might end up with a 6 - 9 inch bud or two. (or a few more depending how well developed each node was)

Worth trying!

What I am hoping for are seeds. Got five nice ones in the back yard. One just starting to look male, can't really tell yet on the others. Just didn't have room for anymore. These were stunted and root bound and still in their seedling cups, but were planted like 2 months ago.

We'll see. They looked good today when I checked on them.
