Plant now in my care, HELP

Hey, so this is my first time growing. I have been EXTENSIVELY researching the growing of cannabis and feel comfortable giving it a shot... so I germinated some seeds. More importantly my friend had an outdoor plant in a pot and because its getting COLD where I live he decided to bring it indoors... this is where I come in. I have a decent grow room set up and got a floralux 400 w HPS light, water and soil ph testers, temp and humidity meters etc. The plant seems pretty healthy, but the guy trimmed almost all the fan leaves off! There are some pretty small ones around the buds, but im really not sure if its going to be enough. Tried to get some pictures, but my camera phone gets lines in it around the light so you cant see much in the pictures. The buds are still very small, so I dont think its been flowering long at. Think its going to be alright? Im Joe by the way, ive been creeping around these forums for a few weeks trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can So for that, I thank you all!

I wouldn't worry about the fan leaves - mostly because there's nothing you can do about it now. One word of caution....you are bringing a plant from outdoors to indoors. I highly recommend you hang a no pest strip or use a pyrethium bomb after harvest or something. I guarantee that plant will bring some bugs with it...when a plant is outdoors there are predator bugs that keep things like spider mites in check but as soon as you bring a plant indoors the chances of having a serious infestation go unchecked are high. Keep your eyes peeled and have a plan ready to go.

fan leaves feed the plant the guys an idiot for doing that you wont get as big yield cuz of that but like the guy above said BUGS thats plant well have a bug forsure

u should make got some soapy water and spray down u grow area surfaces, but dont let it get in the soil. maybe spray the leaves if u already have some infestation. just to be carful idk

Thanks guys, I will keep a really close eye on the bug situation...I havent seen any signs yet. Thanks for the bombing idea after I harvest, I ordered some nirvana snow white fem seeds from sensible seeds (should be here soon ) and I dont want anything to happen to them. I really never would have thought it haha
