Ok, so these plants are growing in store bought soil with added perlite. the lights are a cfl "lotus" 525W and the air is clean. as for PH, I live in lebanon and those are hard to come by and are expensive as hell- so i cant say. i water once a week and fertilize every other. There are brown spots showing up on the edges of leaves and the plant looks dull. See pics and please let me know what you guys think.IMG_0044.JPGIMG_0050.jpgIMG_0047.jpgIMG_0048.jpg

I agree you might have some nute burn but also watering every other day is way too much. The drooping is caused by over watering.

Forget that last post really baked and not reading right this morning. It might be the exact oppostite I water once every three days or when the pot gets light. That's a great way to tell when to water. When you water gently lift your pots when they feel light its time to water also Imo its good to nute feed every other watering. Sorry about the earlier post man.

If its taking a week for your soil to dry up to water again, your soil is probably way too dense...it needs more perlite ;)

HMM...Don't know about nute burn especially if you are only feeding once every 2 weeks. What is the NPK of the soil? Firstly, they need more water than 1 time a week. Secondly, those clear cups are not good for young roots. And last but certainly not least, I think the issue may be that tin foil. Tin foil creates hot spots in a grow area. Get rid of it and get some mylar or paint the area flat white.

im not sure its nutrient burn? you could flush then add nutrient again til all soil is wet with very little run off . then water more often than once a week with enough water for only a little run off. secondry nutrients are only available in small doses so upping you feeding to twice a week but with the same amount of fertilizer will help correct any inbalances. your pots are quite large for your plant lots of wasted space/nutrients. so salt buid up could be a prob before harvest as you are not ph'ing the water. You could try to get some dolomite lime to add to balace soil with out the need for a ph tester wont correct completely but will defo help.
hope this helps

thanks for all that advise, i say though that the soil is too dense it gets really hard when its dry and the plant is honestly hella small for its age. so the question now becomes how the hell do i transplant those suckers? it seems like mission impossible.
and ps, i thought it might be nute burn or overwatering so i flushed and havent watered in like a week and a half. i see no noticeable change. except that the plant is displaying nutrient deficiencies such as purple stems(although its an afghan strain, this purple started creeping up the stem) im afraid to fertilize out of fear of killing it. i really just want to transplant them. any advice?
