So I read up on why my plant would start initially growing what appears to be burn areas on leaves. What I've come across is a boron deficiency and/or a Calcium Deficiency and I did moth methods to try and correct the issue. It's been about 5 days since I did the treatment and this is the result still lol: any ideas what could be causing this .
Just curious about how often you are watering? Also what did you use to correct your deficiency?
Once possibly every week or two weeks . Normally when the soil is pretty much dry though like I was advised to. And according to the sites they said to flush it with Ph balanced water. At first I wasn't even checking my pH levels which obviously is bad considering I bought pH up n Down to make sure I'll always have balanced pH. Just recently flushed it 2-3 days ago for this problem
That's what the websites were saying . Possible pH off balance or a deficiency. I correct pH and flushed the plant like instructed. Hoping it fixes itself
My pH was waaaaay to high in the water I was using and never realized because I forgot I bought test tubes and pH up n down to make sure that wouldn't happen. Dumb mistake. Everything I read said to flush the plant with pH balanced water and let it do its job which I did 2 days ago and just brought it to here in case anybody else had some opinions and/or observations for me . Maybe an hypothesis on how to fix the according issue because those pictures I posted are the worse ones but the top leaves look healthy but a few of them have that brown tip .
How tall is your plant respectfully ? Cause that might make sense why it's so hungry. This is only my 2nd grow and the first was just a complete fail lol. I hope it corrects itself like yours did
I'll look into the dolemite lime . Thank you ! I'm just currently using FoxFarm Ocean Mix with Extra Peralite. Nutrient wise I'm using General Hydroponics Grow, Bloom and Micro mainly because they were the only ones around my price range with good reviews. Plant is sitting at 1 ft possibly 2 ft respectfully . Its been growing for a month I would say min so far.
@DrewBerry Still looks over watered imo. The petioles stand up but the leaves droop on the end of the petiole. Usually with under watering the leaf and the petiole both droop downward pointing to the soil. Other than that the plant looks green and lush.
