Plant Growing to slow?

Okay this is my first grow, and i was told the plants usually take around 3 months from seed to harvest, but i;ve been growing this plant for almost 4 months now and its pretty small:cry:
DSCF0367.jpgDSCF0373.jpgDSCF0369.jpg

as you can see by the pics, its only about a foot and a half, i am using low powered computered fan blowing on about 3 inches from the soil on the plant, and another blowing on the one 90w CFL bulb that is in a heating lamp that looks kinda like this.
Heat%20Lamp.jpgI just started the 12 on 12 off with light about 2 1/2weeks ago, its hanging about 8 inches above the plant. I'm using miracle-gro water soluble plant food that is 24-8-16.

Can anyone tell me if the plant is normal for its age, or what im doing wrong?

That plant is already budding! It's a girl! you should have started 12/12 a few weeks ago! Just start flowering and let it grow.
Get a bit more light in there too! Also, they should be 2700k bulbs, thats the appropriate temp. for flowering.

Good luck!

it looks fine for only being in 12/12 for 2weeks. It seems you kept your plant in veg a while long. If you would have kept it in veg a few weeks you would probably be smoking right now and not starting your flowering period.

Also, your CFLs at 8 inches are high up! Bring them down to 3 - 4 inches of the plant tops, so they get the most light they can.
CFLs do not get too hot, so they are safe this close to your plants. A good fan keeps things in check too!

you can veg for months if your space permits it. I would add more light. If you got he cash pick up a small HID.

i can try to do that, im working with a 2 foot wide by like 3 foot tall space, the walls are coated with a space blanket for reflectivity. Does anyone have an idea of when they think she'll be done flowering?

thats pretty small, your problem is your lighting is too far away , I keep cfls 2 inches away max. and do you mean 90 equivelent watts or 90 actual watts? either way thats not enough light, try to get at least 200w (the actual watts, not equivelent watts) in with her.

Your pots are small looking. use big pots for big plants. everytime you see roots coming out the water holes repot into a bigger one till you reach 5 gallons next time. Good luck

other hardware stores stock them as well, just call around the ones in your area and ask if you have to. k-mart and fleet farm both stock them where i live so if youve got one of those nearby you can check there.
