I have a 3 blue hammer x killa queen plants that are in veg. Had them for 6 weeks under 24/0 and switched them two weeks ago to 20/4 wanting more roots and 1 is showing preflowers. I'm not ready to flower her. I put the 3 back under 24/0 last night because I don't want to flower yet. Can I continue to veg with preflowers showing?? Can I put them back on 20/4 or keep them on 24/0 and hope it stops flowering?? I'd prefer to veg longer under 20/4. Please help.

It should not flower unless you go to 12/12 unless you have an Auto flower plant. It will show pre-flowers but should not flower if you run 24/0, 20/4 or 18/6

No offense, but I suspect you confused new growth with preflowers, unless as stated it's an auto. Post a pic!

20/4 shouldn't trigger a photo, a lot of people veg 18/6. Push it back to 20/4, something else is going on there.

Preflowers just mean its sexually mature, usually happen around the same time as alternating nodes. Its not budding, veg as long as you want. I usually get them around week 4-5. When you decide to flip they will be everywhere after a week because you vegged until it was mature. Quit changing ur light schedule, pick 1 and stick with it

Agreed. Your could cause stress to your plants by constantly switching schedules. They like consistency.

Mixing nutes too hot can cause preflowers, when nute has high PK, mostly K it signals the plant

I had it happen when I pushed Hydroponic-Research V+B to 500ppms (1 EC) during veg. I backed down to 400 and the preflowers disappeared

So I should lower the nutes and can put the light schedule back to 20/4? I really wanted my plants to be mothers and never see the flower room.

So I should be fine with 20/4?
