Plant Fell Over, How Do I Treat?

Went to look at my two inch tall babies last night and one of them had fallen over and was laying over on its side. I watered it and thought would check on it in the morning. Oddly enough it was not broken or bent but rather curved into an S shape at the base. The leaves are still green and other than now laying mostly sideways looks ok.

First time grow here. What could have caused this to happen? It looked perfectly normal the day before. Do you think it will be ok left alone or should I doctor it somehow?

Depending on what medium you are using you can either bury it almost up to the leaves or you can use a little toothpick and string to tie it up a little support.

I had one stretch on me in rockwool and ended up ripping open a cube and wrapping it around the stalk. Kept her (hopefully) supported and she's doing awesome now :)

hi just place something like a stick in the soil and tie it to the string untill the stem gets strong again also keep you fan on it

Cut a straw to 1.5" in length. Then slice it down one side and put it around the stem and shove it into the soil so it stands with the stem on the inside. :)

Thats what I had thought to do at first because I imagined the stalk to be literally bent, but it wasn't. It is just now in a S shape but seems strong. I was afraid I might break it or uproot it trying to straighten it out to tie it to something.

I like the straw idea. I might give that a shot if it come down to it. Right now, I am wondering if I should just leave it alone and keep an eye on it to see what happens.

You didn't say how old it is. If these are seedling just rebury it further down in whatever medium your using. I myself would look down and look at the root. Again depending on the age decide whether it is salvagable.
