I use ffof and like i said before i always have to give my plants a boost of N in weeks 3 and 4 of flower. your plant uses up all the goodeness in the soil in the first month of growth i have found.

Im just throwing out a guess from an issue ive had in the past. But do you flush your soils? get rid of built up salts that cause def. in mineral uptake? And do you filter your water and let it stand over night if you have city or a well. Hard water can be an issue as well. like i said just thrown it out there. anouther way you can tell what your plant is deficient in is to track the yellowing. Mobile def. like nitrogen will start at the bottom. A yellowing at the top or the newest part of the plant is an immobile def. and will work its way down.calcium boron chlorine...............are all immobile nutrients theres more too. Would really need to know more info. about your op.

ok, to properly flush plants you bring the guys to a sink. and with clean filtered water pour in three times as much water as soil you have. One gallon pots pour three gallons thru them. Do live in a city or the country? If its the country, the cheapest way to learn about your regions water is at a good niersery and ask them. Water is one of the most important aspects to a plants life. If you water has minerals or salts it can cause damage if not treated right. Flushing can dramaticlly help with those things. And make sure to always water all the dirt. So you dont get dry spots in the soil. If you dump all the water in one side of the pot it will likely not travel to the other side. You will end up with dried out roots on one side of the pot. Causing a weakness. Tap water from the city has chlorine in it. Let it sit 24 hours and it will evaporate off. Im sure theres going to be someone that say my next thing is bunk but, a britta water filter help out so much. I always filter with the britta then let it sit in an open container for 24 hours and my waters ph and mineral containt are good. Theres more expensive and better filters but this is tried and tested in my book.
