Hey guys, Since this is my first post i'll say hello and thank you for all of the endless information available from this website. RIU has given me alot of inspiration and knowldge about the plant we know and love

This plant is 5 1/2 weeks old. Started the first 2 weeks the scotts premium potting soil than transplanted to MG organic mix. No nutes have been added and lights have been 24/0 since this is a lowryder autoflower. Using a 42W daylight spectrum CFL. One thing that I have failed to keep up on is pH, so that is the X factor in my first grow.

The yellowing started out as brown spots which quickly spread through out the bottom leaves and progressed its way to the top. I observed the yellowing at about the second or third week from seed. I wanted to wait and see how the plant reacted after transplant so I let it go. Things have turned for the worse and i'm not sure shes going to make it.

Some pics below, Any suggestions or tips to help nurse her back to life, or is it too late?

You can save her but before you do, you you should go get a liquid pH test kit from a pool supply store. Ph in your soil that came from your water is not correct and is causing a nutrient deficiency.

You need to flush the old water through the soil with fresh pH balanced water. If you have bottled water on hand that will work best.

I'm having a similar problem and ALSO using MG Organic Potting Mix, my plant is 25 days old an is starting to turn yellow starting at the bottom leaves, not the first little leaves, but large fat green leaves that were strong before. I am thinking maybe this soil sucks and the plants run through the nutes in the first 3 weeks and then are left without Nitrogen??? I don't check my ph either but i dont think thats it, i think its the soil... check out my link and tell me if the pic looks like the beginning of your problem...https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/186104-help-yellowing-plant-pics.html

OK, listen to him.
Obviously he has much more experience in something he has never done.

I am not saying I am an expert on MG but one thing I can tell you is this, When you use a soil mix with timed release nutrients every time you water it releases more nutrients. It continues to do this for three months.

If you consider the fact that most people veg there plants for a month or so then flower and the plants need different nutrients to flower correctly, well what do you think? I think this just is not going to happen.

What I would do is flush these real good and let the soil dry. Then I would transplant them to a larger container with a growing medium that has no nutrients. Sink a watering tube past the MG so I could water the roots with the correct nutrients or set up an ebb and flow... But that's just me.

Good luck man.

I did check my ph today and it was at a comfortable 6.5 so I have def. ruled that out...
