Plant deficiencies across the board?

Hey everyone. i just started a new op. indoor, with sealed room. in/out..bla bla bla. the works.

just wondering is it common to have multiple different DEFICIENCIES with specific plants? for instance...having 5 plants with a Iron inbalance and then a separate group of plants having a Nitrogen issue?

i was curious if inbalances were more common to affect the whole crop instead of having targeted groups of plants.

any advice or questions regarding my issue...please let me know or ask.

Thanks.

I think what he is asking is if plants of the same strain will have differant deficiencys,I guess its very posible because theres a chance that you got seeds from differant plants, are your plants are all growing in exactly the same pots, soil, and light etc,if they are then I would have to think that could be a posibility, if your growing clones taken from the same plant they will all be the same

I think it might be your blah blah blah. Or it could be the works.

At any rate, don't elaborate or post pictures, that is not the best way to get solid advice. But generally no, newbs typically fuck up all the plants the same way. some may show signs more than the others but the basic problems are the same.

Yes, different strains can show different deficiencies. For example, some strains require a high EC (electrical conductivity) in the soil to efficiently uptake nutrients, others require a very specific ph, most strains respond to nute strength differently. Sativa Divas earned the name, lol.

they are all clones "supposed" to be from the same mother is what i was told. i kno that with sum deficiencies they can directlty affect other compounds such as nitrogen & magnessium etc.

to clarify: all my plants are the same strain. but some are showing different signs of dificiencies from eachother.

pics will be posted soon.

SNOCAT: the clones are in their transition and are in red party cups for now. they have been in there going on the 4th day. they soon will be transplanted into 3gal. pots.

btw im using coco with a 60/40 ratio with pearlite at 40%.

also on the ends of the leaves...yellow tips have started to show.

Smoochie thanks for the EC advice. ill look into that more. my strand is XXX.

1. Your over feeding if the tips are yellow. That is an easy one.
2. if your showing other deficiency signs as well, chlorosis of the leaves, yellow banding, brown leassions, then you have a PH problem.
3. i would NOT NOT NOT transfer a plant that has only been in a solo cup for 3 days into a 3 gallon pot. You want a very very healthy root system before you transfer them. When you can pull the plant out with damp soil and the whole thing slides right out of the cup..then your ready to transplant.

Going into a big container can cause root issues that someone else can go into great detail about...or you could google it. For now, you will just have to trust me.

thank you for the advice. im uploading a few pics right now. iunno if much detail can be seen..but well see.

also just wanted to let everyone know. im using (6) T-5 FL right now just for the first week or so cuz i didnt want to scorch them using HID's

I don't see any glaring deficiencies. They do look pretty damn droopy though. I am suspecting over watering. More likely than under watering. My suggestion would be to let them fully dry out. Like the cups are completely weightless when you pick them up. Letting the roots dry out will actually stimulate the growth of more feeder roots in addition to fending off the anerobic conditions of waterlogged soil. Its much easier to over water than it is to underwater. You will get the hang of watering by weight as time goes on.

If you have an HID then get that sucker above those things. As soon as my clones are rooted they go straight under a 600. Now, don't be a douche and put the light right on top of them but after maybe a week, it is at its proper height of about 16" above the plants.
